"Cannot connect to server" error

I just installed the AdCenter Desktop Beta and when I try to log in using my username/password I get that error instantly... It's like it doesn't even try to verify the information I provided. Anyone else had that problem? Update: Well it seems it can connect when I install it on my laptop but...
