    Problem of keyword insertion

It seems the software can not recognize keyword insertion, treating it like usual words. So an ad is too long to be written.

Anyway I have to say the interface is very nice!

If you use the syntax {keyword:default} where default is the phrase you want used if your keyword insert fails, adCenter should first try to use the appropriate keyword. If the keyword insert fails for some reason (it might be an editorial violation such as misspelling, or the keyword might be too long to fit the space available), then the default value is used instead.

    Hi Dali,

I am wondering if you could provide more detail of what you are doing and maybe an example too.

    Thank you,

    Problem of keyword insertion

Hi Charles, thanks for your kind answer. I do have some questions on keyword insertion on web interface, though the problem I mentioned here is in the desktop application.

Hi Brian, the problem is the blanket of ad title writing only allows 35 characteristics.

For example, I bid on "gift card", "gift cards", "giftcards". My title should be similar to "Very Nice Gift Cards". So I should write ad titles as: Very nice {keyword:gift cards}. But the application doesn't know this is a keyword insertion, and doesn't allow me to write such a title just because it is more than 35 characterisctics.

    Charles,

I was attempting to do just that in your example, (as i've done many many times through the dashboard) and the desktop app, would stop accepting characters as if it was recognizing "{keyword:", as part of my ad title.

    Hi All,

I was also able to replicate this issue and I am currently having this issue looked in to by the development team. I will provide an update as soon as I hear back.

    Thank you,
