Target settings and Distribution of ads

     Hi All,

    Can anyone clear my doubt?

I have choosed UK in "Distribute your ads by language and market" and selected "Display my ads to all customers" for adgroups.  Am little confused with this. "Whether my ads will be displayed across the world or only to customers in UK market/location ?"

    Thanks.

    Hi 1357,

The distribution channel you select when signing up determines the URL of LIVE your ads will be displayed on. Example, selecting the EN_UK distribution means that your ads will be displayted to users on HTTP://LIVE.CO.UK search URL. Same rule applys is you select the UN_US distribution, your ads will display on the HTTP://LIVE.COM search URL.

Display to All Customers means that this will display your ads to all users (world wide) that will be using the URL (HTTP://LIVE.CO.UK) if you have selected the UK distibution channel. You can also utilize geotargeting to not allow users that use the CO.UK URL from other parts of the world to view your ads.

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks,

     Thanks BrianH.

when i searched with "HTTP://LIVE.COM" URL, I did not find of my ad on sponsored listings. But, you have said ads will be displayed when we search using this URL.

I have one more question. " If a user in INDIA is searching using HTTP://LIVE.CO.UK URL , whether the traffic will be considered as UK traffic or Internation traffic (traffic from India) ?".

    Thank you.

The traffic will be considerd as UK Traffic because you created the Ad under en-uk platform..
