Fed up with the issues and nobody fixing it

First off I'm a Microsoft Gold Partner, .net community evanglist, and MCP.  I've informed adCenter and created partner trouble tickets for well over a year about my issues of my ad not showing up for my keywords.

What they keep telling me lately is, because the keywords are considered "low performing" it deactivates those keywords.  First off, my Google ad never has this problem.  I've been getting the runaround on what the problem is and what the fix is.  I was originally told my low budget created the problem.  However, my ad has never come close to reaching my budget, much less accumulating over $2 in clicks (I've set the budget up to $150/mo).

Yes my keywords don't get searched much.  But it's the number 1 search term for my product!  I might be in a niche market, but that doesn't mean I should get substandard service, especially when Microsoft knows they are under the gun for trying to keep pace with Google.

I'd be curious to know if anyone else has had issues and what they are.  Only then can we help encourage Microsoft to fix the problems and give some true competition to Google.

Sometimes this is refered to smart pricing/minimum bid pricing.  How much do you bid on the keyword?  What is the average search for the keyword and have you tried setting up excluded keywords or targeting your keyword even further?

For my market its not uncommon to bid 1.00+ for keywords that even have little or no bids until the campaign relevency has some history in which case the price continues to fall.

Currently it's set at $2.50, which is well over the recommended price for the 1st spot.  There is no way to be more specific.  Anyone who puts these two words in their search are looking for something extremely specific in my niche market.  There is one or two other ads that don't have a problem advertising with these two words, but I've always had issues from day 1.

    Hi vonlar,

One thing that may help you with delivery is alignment. Keep your bids and budget in balance. If this is out of ballance, it can affect your ad delivery and only display it 'sometimes'. A high bid with a low budget will only allow your ad to deliver poorly.

    Example:
       Month : 31 Days
       Bids : 1.50
       Budget : 200.00
       Daily : Approximate Daily Budget
       Delivery : Potential Ad Delivery

    Budget / Month = Daily
    Daily / Bids = Delivery

The above example may be useful to you (and others) as it at times, users do not remember this part when creating their adgroups.

Please let me know if you have any other question vonlar.

    Thank you

Have you tried setting your campaign to spend until budget (or whatever adcenter may cause it) vs managing the budget to last for the time period?

I know in google i always select to spend vs allowing google to throttle campaign until budget is hit.

Other than that, it seems like it can take days for campaigns to go live :(
